Room Automation Platform
A standing workstation integrated with presence sensing and room controls.
I developed this physical and computational system in 2026. Its standing desk and laptop shelf also functioned as a laptop stand and standing workstation.
Sensing and controls
The system integrated an Arduino Uno, ultrasonic sensing, a VL53L1X time-of-flight sensor, an IR receiver and emitter, an RGB LED, and physical button controls.
Presence and context detection switched between room, work, and off modes. Learned IR commands controlled a projector.
